DESCRIPTION:El viernes 20 de setiembre\, comienza el 1er Festival Internacional de Danzas\, en Rivera. \nAgrupaciones que representan a través del arte la identidad tradicionalista\, la música y la danza\, llegan desde Uruguay\, Argentina\, Chile y Brasil. \nLa programación se desarrollará durante 4 días\, siendo la apertura el viernes 20 de setiembre desde las 20hs\, en instalaciones del Teatro Municipal\, con una Noche de Gala; un gran espectáculo donde participarán todas las delegaciones y será la única oportunidad para disfrutar del Ballet Folclórico Departamental de Rivera. \nEn Plaza Flores\, el 21 de setiembre\, actuarán delegaciones invitadas\, será en el escenario nombrado para esa oportunidad “Prof. Ruben Dantaz” en reconocimiento a su trayectoria. También visitan Centros de Tradición Gaucha en la ciudad de Santana do Livramento y culminan el 23 de setiembre con un “Taller de Danza” en el Liceo N°1 de Rivera\, a cargo de la Compañía Maipú Folklore (Chile). \n  \nProgramación: \nViernes 20 \n\nHora 20:00 – Teatro Municipal\, Gala con la participación de Maipú Folclore de Chile\, Ballet José Hernández de Argentina\, Grupo de Danzas Presilha do pago de Livramento y Ballet Folclórico Departamental.
